Okay, so...I'm not doing too good at this blog thing. I had planned on writing a little something every other day instead once every couple of weeks. I'll try to do better. My friends keep telling me that I have GOT to write down all the crazy things our kids say. Where they come up with this stuff I have no idea! So, every time my kids say something that I think you will enjoy, I'll just post it. What a great way to save it for them to read someday. Here are some recent pics of our family: (I can't get the pictures to upload so I'll try to do it in a separate post. Technology....it can REALLY be a pain somtimes!!!!)

I have also been on another adventure that everyone keeps telling me I need to journal about. In June of this year I found my birth mom! To make a long story short...I wrote her a letter in June, heard back from her in July and we have been in contact ever since. It has been an amazing, exciting, thrilling adventure and I am looking forward to what the future holds. I am actually flying to Texas this Thursday to meet her, her husband, my half-sister and half brother. I am very excited! Please pray for me while I am down there. I'll update you all on how it went when I get back.

Allright, now for an update on the nomadic Bonners:

Most of you know that Todd joined the Air Force in June of 1998. So far we have lived in...drum roll please...Texas, Alaska, New Mexico, California, Texas again and now Georgia. And we had three children during this crazy ride we call life! I have enjoyed each place we have lived and met some of the most amzing people! If it was just me and Todd, we would probably move every two years because we love meeting new people and seeing new places. But...it's not just me and Todd and each move has gotten harder and harder on our kiddos. So, we have decided to get out of the Air Force and see what civillian life is all about again. Parts of me are scared but most of me is thrilled!

We plan on staying in Georgia for as long as the Lord wants us to. Our kids are at a great school, we have a great church and we are surrounded by wonderful people. The only downside is we are so far away from any of our family. Holidays can sometimes be depressing, but we make the best of it. In Alaska our friends became our family and we spent every holiday, birthday and weekends with them. I miss them all greatly!

We have about one year left in the military. Todd will get out in October '07. Everybody has aksed: "what's he gonna do when he gets out?". Well, last Friday Todd drove to Atlanta, took his real estate test and passed with flying colors!! He was very excited. This past week was his first week as an agent. He goes to the office after work and on weekends. It may be a long year but it is all necessary so that we have an income to fall back on. He was at the office on his first day and after being there for an hour, he got his first listing! God is good and Todd is having a blast. It is so good to see him enjoy his work.

As for me...I have been on quite an adventure too. I was a stay at home mom for seven years and loved it. About a year and a half ago I decided I wanted to see what this "having a job outside the home" stuff was all about. I started my own organizing business which was going quite well and then our children's pastor and youth pastor ( We go to Stevens Creek Church)offered me a job as an assistant to them. They said I could help keep them organized :). It was a job I could not pass up and so I took it. Well, after being there a few months they offered me the position of Elementary School Coordinator and again...it was a job I could not pass up. Well, because of some things going on with me personally and also with my family I realized that I needed to be back home. I needed me to be back home and my family needed me back home. It was a very hard decision for me to make but I felt God calling me like never before. I will stay the Elementary Coordinator until they fill the position. Please pray for THE right person. I pray that God is preparing them now for this job and preparing Stevens Creek for this person.

So, in saying all this, I have really come full circle. It's been a learning experience for me. I will still continue to have a job that brings in money, it will just be from the comfort of my own home. I am going to go back to building websites. I started one a few months ago called Just Small Dog Breeds. I just haven't had the time to work on it. Now I will. I will probably start another one soon for Todd's real estate business. I am very excited!!

Well, my fingers are tired and so is my brain. Hope everyone is having a great weekend! We did yard work (woohoo!!) , watched a movie, ordered pizza and just hung out at home. Until next time....
